Riviera Beach, FL, October 17, 2000 – AmeriPath, Inc. (Nasdaq: PATH), the nation’s leading physician and laboratory company focused on anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic, and healthcare information services, will broadcast its conference call discussing financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2000 on Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. EST over the Internet. James C. New, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Robert P. Wynn, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will host the call.
