CONFERENCE
Riviera Beach, FL, January 15, 2002 – AmeriPath, Inc. (Nasdaq:PATH),
one of the nation’s leading providers of anatomic pathology
services, today announced it will participate in the Wachovia Securities
Integrated Oncology Conference to be held at the The St. Regis
Hotel in New York City, New York. The AmeriPath presentation will
be made by the Company’s Executive Vice President of Genomic
Strategies and Chief Medical Officer, Dennis M. Smith, Jr., M.D.,
on Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at 8:50 a.m. Eastern Time.
