PATIENT EDUCATION

As part of our service, we provide patient education materials to our referring physicians and their patients. The following three patient education brochures, which address common questions concerning specific diseases and tests, are available for distribution in waiting areas and examination rooms:

AmeriPath also provides a series of disease-specific "Patient Diagnostic Fact Sheets" that address common questions and patient concerns. The Patient Diagnostic Facts Sheets are intended for physician issuance to a patient once a diagnosis has been disclosed.
