1	Bone marrow sodium heparin (green top) and 1 smear from specimen	4 mL	Room temperature; for overnight storage refrigerate; transport with refrigerated cold pack.

General Information

Clinical Utility	This assessment includes flow cytometry immunophenotyping, plasma cell labeling index, and cytogenetics with reflex to FISH as required for the complete integrated evaluation of multiple myeloma.
