Our network of physicians provides specialty pathology services at 70 independent pathology practices. With over 450 pathologists and doctorate-level scientist, AmeriPath brings health plans, their members, and health care providers unmatched experience in the field of quality diagnostics.

AmeriPath and our Dermpath Diagnostics division are the preferred pathology groups of choice for dermatologists and other referring physicians nationwide. AmeriPath is also the exclusive pathology provider at over 200 hospitals. Inpatient anatomic and clinical pathology entail exhaustive interpretation of disease states, high expectations in service levels, and interaction with all surgical specialties including hospital generalists. As hospital laboratory medical directors, our hospital-based pathologists are board-certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology. We provide medical direction, oversight and, guidance for all hospital laboratory services and routinely perform STAT services such as frozen sections.

To provide access to all of AmeriPath’s outpatient and inpatient diagnostic services, our managed care team works diligently with insurance plans to ensure their members can receive our high quality services. As a result, AmeriPath has developed extensive managed care coverage throughout the country.
